TSA, also known as Transportation Security Administration. was founded in the wake of 9/11 to strengthen the security of the United States transportation systems. Every passenger’s luggage is screened by the authority before it is placed on an airplane.
In the event that specific luggage has to be physically inspected, normal locks may be forced opened and damaged in the process.
TSA approved locks, on the other hand, provide passengers the liberty to prevent thefts, while allowing TSA authorities to open and relock the lock with a “universal master key”. These locks bear the special identification mark.
ATTENTION: The lock is delivered without a key, only TSA authorities have this.
